2024 Fall BASEBALL

PLEASE READ before registering your player(s)! Ask questions if needed. You may reach out to [email protected] if you need help determining which level of play is best for your player(s)!

We recommend registering for the division you will be playing for in the Spring 2025 season. Fall is a much more laid back, instructional type season than the Spring season.

We ask that you DO NOT upload documents during registration! All paperwork needs to be printed and turned in.

When signing up to volunteer it will make you upload a driver's license!

Levels Of Play

Tee Ball

Tee Ball is the entry level division for players ages 4-7. The experience is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being a key to growing a child’s love for the game. Basic fundamentals such as running the bases, holding the bat correctly, and throwing will be taught. Games will be roughly 3 innings and every inning all players will get to bat and play a position in the field. The last player to bat will hit a "home run" and clear the bases before their team takes the field defensively. There are no outs, and no score is kept. During an inning there will be many coaches out on the field to ensure safety and to teach the players as they play. While at this level, players will learn to hit a ball being pitched (from their coach) from a short distance (10-15 ft away). The tee is always in play, but encouraged to be used less as the season progresses.

Coach Pitch

Coach Pitch is for players ages 5-9. A player who is league-age 5 or 6 (use the Little League Age Calculator to determine your child’s League Age for the current year) for the current season and has played a year in Tee Ball is eligible to participate in a coach-pitch division. For 9 year olds, unless there is a safety concern, it is recommended your player be evaluated at the Minor League level. 8 year olds who can consistently hit a pitched ball, and have knowledge of the game can also be evaluated for the Minors Division. If the player is not drafted at the Minors Division, we will place your player on a Coach Pitch team. At this level, coaches will pitch overhand, from a standing position from about 20-30 foot away. There are no walks in the Coach Pitch division. Strikeouts will count when batters have seen 5 “good” pitches, as determined by the coach (coaches also serve as umpires at this level). Teams will use a continuous batting lineup (all players bat) and players will play both infield and outfield equally throughout the season. Outs are recorded and each team will bat until 3 outs are recorded or 5 runs are scored, whichever occurs first. We will begin keeping score at this level. Coaches will focus on the things that players can control— running hard on the base paths, hustling onto and off the field, taking quality at-bats and giving their best effort while teaching basic rules of the game.

Minor League

Minors Baseball is for players ages 8-11. 8 year olds who can consistently hit a pitched ball and understand the rules of baseball are encouraged to be evaluated at the Minor Division. Basic knowledge of a ball vs strike are necessary. Live pitching from players will be introduced at this level from a 46' distance. Walks and strikeouts are recorded. Little League Rules are enforced, with local rules in place to help the players in this age bracket. Scores, Pitch Count and Wins/Loses will be recorded. At this level of baseball a higher level of game understanding and ability is taught. Primary goals are to give players as much experience and playing time as possible and encouragement of ongoing development for all players in all phases of the game. This important developmental division provides a relatively even but not necessarily equal distribution of playing time among players.

Major League

Majors Baseball is for players ages 9-12. 9 & 10 year olds who are playing at a higher level, are recommended to be evaluated for the Majors division. All players who have not previously played a Spring season at the Majors division will be evaluated before the team draft takes place. Little League Rules are followed at this division. The Majors Division is the highest level of play for pitching at the 46 foot distance and 60 foot base paths. By the time a player reaches this level of play, players should know the rules of the game. This division promotes competition to a higher degree as compared to the Minor League. Within this more competitive environment, the emphasis remains on improving baseball skills, building individual self-esteem, promoting team camaraderie and emphasizing fair play. The division is designed to be both the satisfying culmination of some players' Little League careers and to prepare other players for higher levels of play including advancement in Little League Tournament play. Score, Pitch Count and Wins/Losses will be recorded. Regular season players in the Little League Majors Baseball Division have the opportunity to dual roster, meaning he/she can play in the Little League 50/70 Intermediate Baseball Division during the same season. If we see a safety concern for a 12 year old playing at this level, they may be assigned to a Minor League team. Otherwise all 12 year olds MUST be drafted onto a Majors Division team. Players who are not drafted onto a Majors team, will be placed onto a Minors team.

Intermediate

Intermediate Baseball is for players ages 11-13. Intermediate offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size (46-foot pitching distance and 60-foot base paths) and the Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths). Regular season players in the Little League Intermediate 50/70 Baseball Division have the opportunity to dual roster, meaning he/she can play in the Little League Major Baseball Division during the same season. Rules are used such as runners being permitted to lead off bases, runners may attempt to steal at any time, and allowing an on-deck batter.
