2020 Spring Season Cancelled

TLL Parents, Players and Fans;

In March when Little League International suspended practices and games and the Governor implemented the Stay-At-Home order soon thereafter, the TLL Board of Directors continued to meet making plans for a season of baseball.  We were hopeful that we would be able to get back on the fields, even if for a different type of play.   Regrettably, the Board believes the continued orders on social gatherings, timing, potential player availability and the COVID-19 virus surveillance practices we would have to implement presents significant challenges in playing baseball.  Therefore the 2020 Spring Season of TLL baseball is cancelled.  It was hard, not only as Board members but also as fans of Little League Baseball to come to this decision but our first responsibility is to the safety and well-being of our players and TTL Baseball community.    We are not the only league in our District to cancel the season.

However, we are working with our District 2 Leadership on having controlled-attendance Summer activities and an exciting Fall season of baseball within our league and other local leagues (significantly more involved than a typical Fall season).  As more information comes available, we will let you know. Keep it on your calendars for August through October for a season of baseball.

Regarding spring registration fee refunds, the Board of Directors developed the following refund policy:

1.    The registration fee can be applied to the 2020 Fall and/or the 2021 Spring season, or

2.    You can request to have the registration fee refunded.If you paid by credit card the fee will be credited to the same credit card used for payment minus the $3.00 credit card processing fee.Check and cash registration fee payment will be refunded by a check from TLL.

Please respond with your refund selection to [email protected]  by June 30 with players name, parents name and mailing address, if paid by check or cash.

It truly is disappointing that we have not been together on the fields and witnessing the excitement, laughter, and companionship of our kids.  I thank all the volunteers, managers, and coaches who were ready to go, and especially to your remarkable Board of Directors who worked diligently throughout the year preparing for the spring season. Stay safe, healthy and get ready for some Fall baseball.
